Hiring¶

Planned team: two drafting people and one field operator. Start with one draftsperson and add the second when the pipeline fills.

Field operator¶

Background: civil or architecture diploma, fresh civil graduate, or a sharp ITI trainee.
What matters: fitness, patience for slow steady loops, enough building sense not to miss a corner or a service shaft.
Training: K.K. Geosystem's device training plus a few practice scans of our own premises. About a week.
Salary band: about ₹18,000/month at trainee level.

Background: B.Arch or civil graduate, or a diploma holder with two years of drafting. Must already be good at 2D drafting; point cloud tools can be taught in two to three weeks, drafting judgment cannot.
Stack: QCAD, CloudCompare, FreeCAD or Blender with Bonsai. Freshers will list AutoCAD; we train on open tools and should expect to pay a little more to retain once skilled.
This role is our quality and our margin.
Salary band: about ₹25,000/month at fresher level.
A fresher architect interested in joining, who shares the open-source stance, is in discussion.

Whichever of the two speaks confidently in Kannada and English and can explain output to an architect without jargon.

One partner learns the device fully so we are never stuck if a trainee leaves.
